Fudgy Brownies

Monday, June 2, 2014
Brownies.  There are so many ways to make them.  You can make them cakey, fudgy, nutty, plain jane, or full of dried cherries, candy bars, caramel, etc.  I pretty much like them hot on ice cream, but for these brownies I will make the exception.

When you bite into these brownies you forget about your worries.  All you can think about is chocolate.

Do you see the dense, moist, gooey inside?!

I LOVE this recipe.  It reminds me of flourless cake.  The secret to professional brownies at home?  Melting the chocolate and butter together in the beginning instead of using cocoa powder.  This recipe uses 2 Tbsp of cocoa powder to add a kick of flavor.

Get the recipe here.  If you are looking for a classic brownie, this is it.  Omit the frills from the recipe and you get the brownies here.
