Peanut Butter Balls with Rice Krispies

If you are looking for something simple to bring to your next party or office pot-luck, these are for you.  Quick, easy, and really tasty.  Your friends will be glad they invited you!


What you will need:
2 c. peanut butter

1 stick butter, melted
1 (1 lb.) powdered sugar
3 c. Rice Krispies
1 lb. chocolate, melted (you can use any dippable/coating chocolate, or add a little bit of oil to chocolate chips)





Mix the first three ingredients together until smooth, then add the rice krispies.  Roll into balls.


I used a cookie scoop to make sure they were nice and even


Then dip in chocolate.  I used a silpat to place the peanut butter balls on to set, but you can use parchment paper too.


It can get a little messy!


Something about the creamy crunch makes my mouth water...


Stack them on a cake stand or lay them out on a platter, they will be gone quick either way.


I like to store mine in the fridge until they are ready to go.  They are good cold and crunchy and last a long time in the fridge.

  1. These look fantastic - can't wait to try them. The pictures help alot, especially for us non-professionals. I've never heard of a "silpat" will probably just use parchment paper. But who can resist - choccolate, peanut butter and rice krispies.

  2. Your instructions were spot on, even I could make these. they were a huge hit with my neighbor Larry, Nick Dante and Max. I think Max ate five of them last night. I just might make another batch for Christmas!
